Our differential service

Nuclear Medicine diagnoses, evaluates and treats a wide variety of medical conditions via the use of a small amount of radioactive material. This material travels to the organ or tissue to be studied and emits radiation that can be detected by a gamma camera (diagnosis) or irradiated in the desired area (treatment). That way, unique information is obtained that cannot be obtained by other diagnostic imaging procedures and allows the early detection of numerous pathologies. The doses used are low and safe, with no risk to the patient’s health.
