Cardiology is the branch of medicine focusing on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the heart, blood vessels and circulatory system. At CreuBlanca we have a cardiology unit in which GPs, clinical cardiologists, cardiac imaging specialists and arrhythmologists work together.

Depending on the examination carried out and the patient’s symptoms, our cardiac imaging specialists will perform a coronary CT scan or cardiac MRI. These tests will enable them to assess the condition of your heart following an angina pectoris or heart attack, as well as evaluate any congenital diseases and anomalies in order to avoid any possible future risks.

Our cardiology unit has a specialised area in cardiac rehabilitation, a haemodynamics department (angiographic studies of the central and peripheral nervous system) and an arrhythmia and electrophysiology department.
