The expansion, covering more than 3,500 m², includes four operating theatres, a Recovery Unit and 22 rooms.
The Hospital CreuBlanca Maresme (c. Pablo Iglesias, 43, Mataró) has inaugurated its surgical and inpatient area, thus completing its healthcare model. This milestone strengthens its position as a leading private hospital in the Maresme region.
The new area, with a surface of over 3,500 square metres, enables Hospital CreuBlanca Maresme to expand its range of services and respond to the growing demand for surgical procedures and specialised care in the area.
“The launch of this new area represents an important step in our healthcare development, as it allows us to integrate the entire surgical process within the same centre, from the intervention to recovery. With this addition, we expand our capacity and respond to a growing demand for specialised care, always with the aim of offering safe, efficient care tailored to each patient’s needs,” says Eulalia Alomar, CEO of CreuBlanca.
The surgical block consists of four smart, integrated operating theatres, designed for high-precision surgery and especially focused on minimally invasive techniques and medium/high-complexity procedures. They incorporate advanced radiodiagnostic technology and monitoring systems that enhance the safety and efficiency of procedures, enabling faster and more comfortable postoperative recovery for patients, reducing the impact of the intervention and hospital stay.
The area is completed by a recovery unit equipped with continuous monitoring, allowing close patient supervision during the postoperative phase, ensuring clinical safety and a rapid response to any medical need.
At the same time, the inpatient unit includes 22 individual rooms, spacious and bright, designed to promote comfort and recovery during hospitalisation.
With this expansion, Hospital CreuBlanca Maresme brings together surgical activity, hospitalisation and postoperative follow-up in a single environment, strengthening its ability to provide more efficient, personalised and continuous care.
Currently, Hospital CreuBlanca Maresme offers 24-hour general and paediatric emergency services, outpatient consultations and a wide range of diagnostic services, including advanced imaging diagnostics and medical check-up programmes. With the addition of the surgical and inpatient area, the centre expands both its services and its healthcare capacity.
