  • Install Screens at Home: Place screens on doors and windows, especially in bedrooms, to avoid bites while sleeping.
  • Ventilate Rooms: Use fans or air conditioning to keep mosquitoes away. Remember to close the doors and ventilate the rooms well before sleeping.
  • Turn Off Lights: If you keep windows open to cool the room, try to turn off the lights, as mosquitoes are attracted to light.
  • Avoid Stagnant Water: Frequently change the water in pet bowls and empty watering cans, buckets, toys, ashtrays, plant saucers, or any container that can accumulate water.
  • Stay Away from Areas with Stagnant Water: Wells, ponds, and puddles are breeding grounds for mosquitoes. If you have pools, ponds, tanks, or water barrels nearby, cover them with tarps or screens.
  • Use Repellent: Apply repellent according to the product instructions and consult a pharmacist if necessary. Wash it off with soap and water when you return home. If you also use sunscreen, apply it first and wait 20 minutes before applying the repellent.
