About your test in the operating room
Diagnostic tests in the operating room are used for early detection and diagnosis of different diseases and conditions. This type of test usually requires sedation or anesthesia.
The important information that you should know before coming to take your test.
Where is it done? At our Creu Blanca Clinic, Av. Foix 63, Surgical admissions.
When should I come? We wait for you 30 minutes before your test in the operating room.
How long will the intervention last? Approximately 2 hours.
Do I have to come accompanied? Yes, you must come with a companion.
Do I need to bring any documentation? Yes, don’t forget the pre-op analysis or coagulation tests.

Medical indications
Keep in mind our instructions and remember:
Fast? You must be fasting from liquids and solids for a minimum of 6 hours.
Medication? If you are taking any medication, consult your doctor before the intervention.
Piercings and jewelry? You must go to the operating room without metallic elements.
Nail polish? You must remove the enamel before entering the operating room.
Prosthesis? Remove or warn staff about the use of contact lenses, dentures, etc. and other types of prostheses.
Shower and toilet? You must go to the intervention freshly showered and with your entire body clean, without moisturizing creams or makeup.
Fever or discomfort the days before? If on the day of the intervention, or days prior to it, you have fever, sore throat, dental problems or signs of infection; you must inform us of this.
Face mask? You must bring a mask, complying with security measures. In addition, you must carry out correct hand hygiene and comply with safety distances whenever possible.
Companion? You must go with a single companion to avoid crowds.
